# Investment Strategy

We will be hiring researchers/analysts whose job is to find cryptocurrencies, startups, or protocols that look promising, do further research upon them and then create a proposal on why the coin/protcol should be invested in by our fund.

At the moment investment decisions will only be made by the team of researhers as we are aiming for a set it and forget it investment approach, where users don't have to vote daily on different investments, but before launch a vote will be held. In this vote holders of GLA can vote on whether they would like to vote on the investments chosen by the team before any investments are made. More details will be provided closer to the launch of Gorilla Investments.

(that said, community input is highly valued, if you know of a project that is solid, send Founder a message on Discord, and share the project. the team will then do further research!)

### Our portfolio

Our portfolio will be public on our website for investors to view, with helpful statistics such as the coin/tokens price, our profit/loss, our average cost, and so on. With each coin we invest in, a presentation or doc will be posted regarding the investment, and why we invested in it. 

### Startups 

We offer an application process for companies that are looking for any sort of funding, While this funding is aimed and oriented more towards newer, or not launched crypto startups, we encourage existing cryptocurrencies in need of funding to fill out the application for funding. Please fill out the following form if you are in need of funding.

### Basic investing strategy guidelines

When choosing things to invest in topics that will be considered are: 

* What is the use case of the project? 
* How does its use case stack up against the competition? 
* What's the timeline of this trade? Get in fast and get out fast? Long term?
* What's the risk to reward ratio, and is it worth it? 
* What's the estimated return? Monthly? Daily? Yearly? 
* What are the risks? 
* Why would others want to also invest in this project?
